- Set up of laboratory Oakland University Incubator (OU INC), Rochester, Michigan for electrolyte production and electrochemical cell development
 
2014
- Phase I of SBIR project funded by National Science Foundation to proof the concept of the ultra-thin ceramic electrolyte
 - Na4B was funded by the Michigan Emerging Technologies Fund (ETF) to support the commercialization efforts
 - Na4B successfully completed the I-Corps program held at NextEnergy, Detroit in partnership with the Center of Entrepreneurship, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and funded by the National Science Foundation
 - Collaboration with The SearchLite, Ann Arbor for customer discovery and market validation
 



2015
- Start of Phase II of SBIR project funded by National Science Foundation and the state of Michigan to develop a new prismatic sodium nickel chloride cell with an improved ultra-thin ceramic electrolyte
 - Set up of laboratory in Colorado for anodic oxide alumina production
